Team Coulson reaches their destination, but face unpleasant company in the preview and stills for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 9.
It looks like Director Coulson will actually make it to the mysterious city which has haunted him for so long in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 9. But the episode, ominously titled “Ye Who Enter Here,” also promises serious danger ahead – which may have permanent consequences.
The preview for “Ye Who Enter Here” establishes that Coulson and co. will be zeroing in on the temple which allegedly stands in this city (for which a name would be awesome, show, by the way.) But it seems like the temple will pose its own significant problems for our intrepid agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Raina’s promise that “only the worthy are allowed inside” the temple seems ominous enough on its own, even without Skye’s intuition that “something really bad is about to happen.” Will Team Coulson prove themselves worthy? How does the May-clone get involved?
And what role will the alien Kree – recently confirmed to be the source of all this madness – play in the fraught hours to come?
The still photos for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 9 don’t tell us much about the Kree, but they do let us know for sure that someone May and Skye don’t like manages to get onto the Bus.

As for the synopsis of “Ye Who Enter Here”… well, it makes us freak out a little bit.
“S.H.I.E.L.D. discovers the ancient city before Hydra,” ABC says, “but uncovering the secrets may require one of Coulson’s team to make the ultimate sacrifice. Meanwhile, May and Skye race to get to Raina before Whitehall takes her.”
Ah, the line between worry and panic; how thin you really are!
