Newly-minted team member Bobbi Morse and familiar traitor Grant Ward take center stage in the promo and stills for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 6.

The team’s loyalties – and lack thereof – will once again be tested in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 6. The episode, titled “A Fractured House,” will bring the focus back to Grant Ward, as a member of his powerful family threatens to bring down S.H.I.E.L.D.

The preview for “A Fractured House” sets up the tense circumstances under which Skye is forced to ask her “HYDRA boyfriend” for help.

…but more importantly, Ward is shirtless.

You do those pushups, Brett Dalton. Do those push-ups so hard.

Uh, anyway. The preview also offers a brief look Tim DeKay, who will debut in his role as Senator Christian Ward in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 6.

Between his insistence that S.H.I.E.L.D. is a terrorist organization and a previously-hinted-at association with Glenn Talbot, it seems evident that Grant Ward’s personal childhood nemesis is now a formidable foe of his former team.

But Coulson’s crew isn’t without their own resources. In addition to further shots of the Senator, the still photos for “A Fractured House” offer a lovely look at Bobbi Morse. Now blonde and working for Coulson, Mockingbird looks dashing and deadly in her new character design.

According to the synopsis for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 6, “The world turns against S.H.I.E.L.D. when Hydra impersonates them to attack The United Nations, and an unexpected enemy leads the charge to bring about their downfall.”

Focus on Ward’s chest and think happy thoughts, everybody.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 6, “A Fractured House,” will air on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 9:00 p.m. on ABC.

Do you think Ward will be friend or foe in ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ season 2, episode 6?
