Director Coulson and Agent May bust out some serious moves in two new clips from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 4.
The senior members of Team Coulson will prove their mettle (and in Agent May’s case, metal) when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 4 airs this week. The episode, titled “Face My Enemy,” will follow Coulson and May on an intriguing operation which will test their skills as spies – and as dancers.
The first clip from “Face My Enemy” offers “Phillinda” fans of a glimpse at the glamorous couple in action.
In the clip, Coulson and May bust out their best dance moves while undercover. It turns out that S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy offered a dancing elective – oh, how we’d love to be a fly on that wall.
Still, the scene isn’t all fun and games. Coulson is still suffering from the side-effects of the GH-325, and wants to make a plan with May, in the event that he goes bonkers. May is reluctant to discuss the matter – but will the Director give her a choice?
The second sneak peek from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 4 doesn’t offer any more information about that particular dilemma, but it does give us another glimpse of Agent May’s most exceptional brand of problem-solving.

The preview and stills for “Face My Enemy” offer more information on why Coulson and May are doing all this dancing and laser-wire-walking. The episode synopsis also fills us in on what the rest of the crew will be doing in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 4.
“While on a mission to learn more about the secrets of the mysterious writing,” ABC says, “Coulson finds himself attacked by the only person he can trust: Agent Melinda May. Meanwhile, the rest of the team is trapped in an explosive situation, and it’s up to Fitz to save them – but is he up to it?”
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 4, “Face My Enemy,” will air on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 9:00 p.m. on ABC.
