Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 9 “Repairs,” airs tonight on ABC. Here’s everything you need to know about the episode, which promises a peek into Agent May’s mysterious history!
An alleged haunting will lead to revelations about perhaps the most mysterious member of Agent Coulson’s team when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 9 airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. The episode, titled “Repairs,” will see a ‘freak of the week’ case expose highly anticipated information about the intensely private Agent May.
The official summary for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 9 says:
Coulson and his team are haunted by a mysterious force that threatens to destroy them all, and only a secret from May’s past can save them.
Last week on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Coulson’s team hunted down a volatile Asgardian staff which stirred up painful memories and turned Agent Ward into something of a rage monster. Agent May handled the staff as well, but at least on the surface seemed much less effected by its power than Ward. All might not have been as it seemed, though, as “The Well” ended with May offering Ward a whiskey-fueled rendezvous in her hotel room.
The nature of this tête-à-tête remains undefined, but hopefully the early acts of “Repairs” will offer some clarification on that score. The opening sequence of the episode focuses of the potentially telekinetic travails of Hannah, the young woman at the nexus of the episode.
Similarly, the preview for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 9 similarly focuses on the danger faced by Agent Coulson’s team, instead of the unforeseen sexual tension between May and Ward. Seriously guys, priorities!
Though judging by still photos from “Repairs,” things do get pretty dicey for the team this week.
What is perfectly clear though, is that no matter what happened between her and Ward, Agent May remains an unflappable badass. Hopefully “Repairs” will give us enough information to satisfy our craving for more information about the Cavalry.
