Still photos from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 7 reveal agents in dire straits (and suits) – plus our first look at a brand new character.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 7 will air next week on ABC, and still photos from the episode make it clear that things will be getting dicey for Agent Ward and Agent Fitz. It looks like the episode, entitled “The Hub,” will focus on tensions between the bureaucracy of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s upper-level brass and Coulson’s desire to keep the members of his family team alive.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 7 appears to focusing on the divide between the be-suited management who issue dangerous orders, and the field agents who have to carry them out. We can’t wait to see how Coulson reacts to the conflict, as he has one foot in each of those two worlds.
Among the upper-level management we will meet in “The Hub” is Agent Victoria Hand, a character with quite a colorful history in the Marvel comics universe. Agent Hand will be played by British actress Saffron Burrows, and you can check out the first shots of her appearance right here.
It’s hard to say exactly what role Hand will play in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – her character starts off in the comics as an accountant for the organization – but we can say for certain that her hair is pretty fabulous.

Dangerous secrets are being kept from Coulson’s team, and he works the system to save Ward and Fitz when they are sent on a Level 8 classified mission that may end in tragedy.
Maximiliano Hernandez will guest star as Agent Jasper Sitwell, a frequent sidekick of Coulson’s in several of the feature film installments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 7, “The Hub,” will air on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.
