A risky plan is revealed to be more dangerous than expected in a new sneak peek from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 7.
A new sneak peek has been released from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 7, which will on Nov. 12 on ABC. The episode, titled “The Hub,” will take Agent Ward and Agent Fitz on a dangerous mission that is classified Level 8 – meaning that no one else on the team can know what they are up to.
In the sneak peek from “The Hub,” Skye confronts Coulson with information about the mission, which she has found after taking matters into her own hands and trying to figure out what all this Level 8 excitement was about.
It’s clear from the clip that Ward and Fitz’s mission – whatever it may be – is exceptionally dangerous, and that S.H.I.E.L.D. isn’t too fussed about that fact. While Agent Coulson definitely has a good point when he explains the importance of secrecy and have a “rule book” to follow, we can’t help but think that the dad of this eclectic little family won’t be entirely comfortable writing Ward and Fitz off on a suicide mission.

The extremely optimistic official summary for “The Hub” reads:
Dangerous secrets are being kept from Coulson’s team, and he works the system to save Ward and Fitz when they are sent on a Level 8 classified mission that may end in tragedy.
Ha, ha! Such jokesters… Right?
