The episode, titled “Providence,” will air at 9:00 p.m., and the network will air an encore of last week’s episode in the show’s standard 8:00 p.m. slot.
The official synopsis for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 18 promises plenty of new and familiar foes to harry Coulson and his loyal agents.
With Colonel Glenn Talbot now on their trail, Coulson and his team seek refuge in the last place anyone would look, where they begin to uncover S.H.I.E.L.D.’s most dangerous secrets – secrets that could destroy them all.
If secrets are the focus of “Providence,” betrayal was the name of the game on last week’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Suspicion and distrust snaked through the ranks as S.H.I.E.L.D. crumbled beneath the freshly-revealed infestation of Hydra.
Though Agent May and Agent Hand proved their loyalty to S.H.I.E.L.D., characters and fans alike were flabbergasted to learn that Agent Garrett was not only a member of Hydra, but in fact the nefarious Clairvoyant whom the team had been hunting all season.
And to add insult to injury, no less than the stoic and stalwart Agent Grant Ward proved himself to be a snake in the grass. At the end of last week’s episode, the agent with the perfect cheekbones revealed himself as a Hydra operative and murdered Agent Hand.
The preview for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 18 emphasizes the intensely dangerous situation in which Coulson and his team have found themselves.

Bill Paxton will return in “Providence” as Agent Garrett, Ruth Negga will make her reappearance as Raina, and David Conrad will recur as Ian Quinn. Adrian Pasdar will make his debut as Colonol Glenn Talbot.
