Team Coulson will split up tonight to tackle two different and exciting mysteries on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 12. The episode, titled “Seeds,” will take Agent Coulson and Agent May on a hunt for a fellow agent, who may have information about Skye’s past. Meanwhile, Fitz, Simmons, Skye, and Ward will investigate strange and serious occurrences at the S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy.
Last week on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the team managed to rescue Agent Coulson from the grip of Centipede – but not before Coulson was forced to recall the traumatic circumstances of his resurrection. Shaken by what he has learned, Coulson will have to struggle to regain his trust in the higher-ups at S.H.I.E.L.D.

Coulson and May uncover startling information about Skye’s past, while the team is swept into a storm at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy.
However, the preview for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 12 indicates that Coulson may no longer trust anything about himself.
In addition to Coulson’s emo phase, the preview for “Seeds” also gives us a glimpse at new guest stars in the episode. Dylan Minette will play Donnie Gill, a character from the Marvel Universe who may be walking down a cold and lonely path, as hinted in the episode’s opening sequence. Christine Adams as Agent Weaver is also seen in another new clip, in which the Donnie Gill situation becomes cause for widespread concern.
Also, we learn that Fitz’s first name is “Leopold,” which we consider to be vital and hilarious information.
