A warm reception turns chilly for Fitz and Simmons in Hypable’s exclusive new clip from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 12!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 12, will air tomorrow night on ABC, and Hypable has an exclusive new clip from the thrilling – and chilling – episode.
The episode, titled “Seeds,” will split the team along lines of age (though not beauty; that would be impossible.) Agents May and Coulson will enjoy some alone-time as they hunt down secrets of Skye’s past, while FitzSimmons, Ward, and Skye investigate a mysterious occurrence at the vaunted S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy.
The exclusive clip from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 12, gives fans a glimpse at what FitzSimmons will get up to in their old stomping ground – as well as a chilling look at the mystery in question.
Oh yes, and we also learn exactly why we’ve never heard anyone call Fitz by his full name.
In the sneak peek from “Seeds,” Agent Weaver (Christine Adams) introduces the apparently well-known Fitz and Simmons to an eager audience of S.H.I.E.L.D. students. Weaver incidentally reveals that Fitz’s full first name is “Leopold,” and we’ll just be over here, weeping with laughter.
Fitz is admirably unfazed by this revelation however, and he and Simmons begin to deliver a lecture about the importance of S.H.I.E.L.D. history. Nefarious institutions such Centipede, Hydra, and A.I.M. are mentioned; Simmons cautions the students not to forget that the scientists who work for these black-hat groups organizations began with the same noble intentions and potential as anyone at S.H.I.E.L.D. “Potential can sometimes be dangerous,” Fitz adds.
But before FitzSimmons can get down to the meat of their presentation, they are interrupted by a cry of distress from Donnie Gill (Dylan Minette). Listening intently only moments before, Donnie is suddenly revealed to have ice creeping up his legs. He begs for help, but is overwhelmed by the ice within seconds.
A similarly chilling event occurs in the opening sequence to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 12, though in that case, the victim is a swimming pool. The preview and stills for “Seeds” indicate that every member of Team Coulson will have their hands full this week… and that Lola looks good just about anywhere.
