The time for diplomacy appears to be over as the team leaves serious bruises in stills for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 11.
New stills have been released for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 11, and by the looks of things, Team Coulson will not particularly be in the mood to use their words in next week’s episode.
The episode, titled “The Magical Place,” will focus on the team’s efforts to find Agent Coulson, who was kidnapped by Centipede in the midseason finale. The stills from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 11 make it clear that the rescue mission is going to require a hefty dose of pure punching power.
Thankfully, they’ve got Agent May.

Still, it looks like everyone involved is going to be left with a few marks after this showdown. Hopefully, the team will also have recovered Coulson to make up for it. It’s also heartening to see that the in-team division suggested by a recent sneak peek is at least partly patched over by the time punch comes to shove.
In addition to the creepy milkman and overwhelming violence, the stills also feature a glance at a character called Vanchat, played by Aiden Turner of All My Children. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 11 will also host returning guest stars Saffron Burrows (as Victoria Hand) and Firefly‘s Ron Glass, reprising his cameo role as Dr. Streiten from the pilot episode. Cullen Douglas and Ruth Negga will also return as Centipede baddies Edison Po and Raina.
Two additional stills revealed on the official Facebook page for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. give fans a closer look at Vanchat, and a shot of Skye looking rather badass.
The official synopsis for “The Magical Place” hints at what Coulson will be up to while his team fights to rescue him.
Coulson uncovers vital information about the mystery of his death, but, with Centipede out for blood, this knowledge may come at the cost of one of the team.
It sounds rather relaxing, don’t you think?
