Peggy Carter stands tall against Hollywood in a slick new poster for Agent Carter season 2.
Revealed on Entertainment Weekly, the new poster will be distributed to fans at New York Comic Con, which kicks off on Oct. 8. Like the artwork distributed at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the new imagery for Agent Carter season 2 sets Peggy against the backdrop of 1940’s Los Angeles.
As reported earlier this year, Peggy’s second season of adventures will take her to to the sunny West Coast, where new opportunities – and new threats – abound.
“Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II,” ABC says, “Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet.”
But of course, Agent Carter’s life can never just be strictly business.
“Even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love,” ABC says, “she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”
James D’Arcy will return to join Hayley Atwell in her California adventures, as Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) sets his sights on Hollywood glory. Enver Gjokaj will also costar as Daniel Sousa, now the chief of the S.S.R.’s West Coast office.
In addition, showrunners Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas recently revealed that Marvel villainess Madame Masque will play a major role in Agent Carter season 2.
“We’ve made her an actress, which is very Hedy Lamar,” Butters says. “She was a ‘40s siren actress who was also a scientific genius, so that’s part of what we’re mining with this character.”
Agent Carter season 2 has recently begun filming, and it seems like Hayley Atwell and her co-stars are having quite a blast reprising her now-iconic role.

Agent Carter season 2 will air in 2016 on ABC.
