Peggy reunites with the Howling Commandos, but deadly secrets lie in wait when Agent Carter season 1, episode 5 airs tonight on ABC.
“Peggy is finally trusted with a mission and calls upon her trusted Howling Commandos squad for backup,” ABC says of “The Iron Ceiling.” “But her cover could be at risk when S.S.R. Chief Dooley also sends Agent Thompson with her.”
Not that Peggy is unfamiliar with risk. On last week’s episode of Agent Carter, she smuggled Howard Stark into her prison-like apartment, and then retrieved Howard’s Blitzkrieg Button from under the S.S.R.’s nose. Unfortunately, Howard was lying to Peggy the whole time. The Blitzkrieg Button actually held a vial of Captain America’s blood – which Howard wanted to use to better humanity and make a ton of money.
Meanwhile, Chief Dooley found something fishy at the battle of Finow, Agent Thompson was misogynistic in a helpful way, and Peggy’s neighbor Dottie is actually a proto-Black Widow with +10 killing power.
The preview for Agent Carter season 1, episode 5 makes it clear that angelic assassins are going to play a serious role in tonight’s episode.
And two sneak peeks from “The Iron Ceiling” suggest that while Peggy gets to work in Russia, Dottie will be keeping very busy on Peggy’s turf.
