Ships this week are lead by Agent Carter, New Girl, Glee, and more. Every week, ships, A.K.A. relationships, are highlighted on our favorite TV shows. Which were your favorite partners and pairings this week?

Did your favorite ship sail this week, did a new one launch, or did yours sadly sink? If you love shipping, you know the drama that shipping wars bring. Your ships don’t have to be canon for you to love them, and that’s half the fun.

Remember, if we didn’t include your favorite, give a suggestion to the writer who usually covers your fandom in the recap discussion or in the comments below.

‘Agent Carter’ – All Aboard The Jarvises

Passengers: Edwin Jarvis and Anna Jarvis

Sunset Cruise: It took about fifteen seconds for the unseen Anna Jarvis to become a running joke in the Agent Carter fandom, but what we learned in this week’s episode turned our laughter bittersweet. Having fallen in love in Budapest just before the war, Jarvis risked his life and honor to save the Jewish Anna from Hungary. But the plan went awry, and only Howard Stark’s intervention saved the couple from becoming casualties of hatred and injustice.

Ship Status: At last sighting, the good ship was sailing sweetly – and still is, we’re happy to say.

‘Glee’ – All Aboard Brittana

Passengers: Brittany Pierce and Santana Lopez

Sunset Cruise: Brittany and Santana have built a solid, loving relationship that grew from a true friendship, and despite a few mature attempts to remain “just friends” as they went out separately into the world, they finally decided that they were happier together. This week we got a private glimpse of how their relationship has solidified since last season, and then later in the episode, Santana pops the big question! Glee’s had its fair share of marriage proposals, from the sweet to the disastrous, but not even stick-in-the-mud Kurt can ruin the sweet honesty of Santana’s public declaration and Brittany’s immediate acceptance.

Ship Status: Hoist the mainsail, scuttle the jib and to quote Captain Jack Sparrow, “Bring me that horizon.” Throw in a sunset for good measure – it looks like smooth seas for these two.

‘New Girl’ – All Aboard Ryness

Passengers: Jess and Ryan

Sunset Cruise: On this week’s episode the pair decided to come clean to their co-workers that they are dating. It caused a lot of problems for Jess when the teachers thought she was favoring Ryan over them. So she finally gave a speech about loving her job. The shocker was her announcement that she also loved Ryan. It was their first time exchanging the “L” word.

Ship Status: This one has been dutifully chugging around port under the cover of darkness. Now it’s all out in the open for a daytime cruise. Break out the party hats.

On page 2: ‘American Horror Story,’ ‘Looking,’ and ‘Girls’

‘American Horror Story’ – All Aboard Maggie and Jimmy

Passengers: Jimmy Darling and Maggie Esmerelda

Sunset Cruise: Two seasons of AHS, two seasons of love gone. Even with new identities, the real life couple of Emma Roberts and Evan Peters cannot make it work on a show where murderers and magic run rampant. In this week’s episode, Maggie makes it her mission to win back the heart of her true love Jimmy Darling. But Chester’s illusion turns out to me more of a trap than trick and he saws Maggie right down the middle spilling her insides across the stage. Even for a horror show, we’re not sure they can make this work.

Ship Status: Woman over the bow, mayday, mayday, mayday… oh never mind. This one is sunk.

‘Looking’ – All Aboard Agustîn and Eddie

Passengers: Agustîn and Eddie

Sunset Cruise: Agustîn enters season 2 in the midst of an emotional crisis. No stable job, no ambition, and a dependency on alcohol and drugs that leads to some erratic behavior. But an encounter with Eddie, the lovable, open guy from the Russian River, may be the catalyst he needs to break his downward spiral. Even if it is not meant to be, Eddie is the first reminder that there are other fish in the sea.

Ship Status: We’re dubbing this one a rowboat called “testing the waters.”

‘Girls’ – All Aboard Adam and Hannah

Passengers: Hannah Horvath and Adam Sackler

Sunset Cruise: No two words cast more doom on a relationship than “long distance.” With Hannah moving out to Iowa to pursue another opportunity for her writing, Adam is left in New York booking mediocre commercial gigs to keep the lights on and gain exposure. Can their relationship survive Adam’s blasé attitude towards their future?

Ship Status: Ouch, long-term mission at sea. This is not a good thing.

On page 3: ‘Elementary,’ ‘Constantine’ and ‘Agent Carter Take 2’

‘Constantine’ – All Aboard John and Anne-Marie

Passengers: John Constantine and Anne-Marie

Sunset Cruise: Don’t let the habit confuse you: Sister Anne-Marie wasn’t always a nun. She and John have a past steeped in love and magic, but the tragedy at Newcastle drove them apart. Anne-Marie may be married to God now, but that doesn’t mean her chemistry with John isn’t off the charts. If things were different, these two might still have a chance. Then again, it may be better for Anne-Marie’s continued existence that things aren’t different.

Ship Status: Sailing on the vessel: “So is that vow thing optional? “

‘Elementary’ – All Aboard FabSherAb

Passengers: Sherlock and his Ab Routine

Sunset Cruise: Making their season 3 debut this week, Sherlock and his ab routine prove yet again that nothing can break the strength of their relationship. The success of their love affair is greatly due to Sherlock choosing crunches over munchies to get through their frequent late night case work. Though they tend to keep their relationship out of the public’s gazing stare under button downs, this all too rare outing silences anyone who ever doubted they could make it last.

Ship Status: Rock hard and going strong.

‘Agent Carter’ – All Aboard Pegasous

Passengers: Peggy Carter and Daniel Sousa

Sunset Cruise: It seems with each episode of Agent Carter we all fall a little more in love with Agent Sousa as he shows a little more interest in Agent Carter. Last week he was a stand up guy trying to make Krzeminski apologize for his crass behavior, but this week was a bit more telling when Krzeminski called him on being interested in Carter. Plus Carter told Jarvis to call in their find to Sousa so he could get the credit because she couldn’t. And, yes we know we already featured an Agent Carter ship, but can there be too much shipping goodness?

Ship Status: This one is a bit of the ship sailing “Da Nile.”
