We’ve got a few hints for what’s to come in Agent Carter 2×03 — including a scene that will leave Peggy (and the audience) gasping.
Tonight’s episode, titled “Better Angels,” focuses on the fallout of the Isodyne Energies explosion. And trust us — there is serious fallout.
Peggy’s got a lot on her plate
Not that the season premiere of Agent Carter was a cake-walk, but there was something to be said for Peggy not having to work under the weight of serious grief. But no longer! Peggy feels terrible enough as it is about the loss of Jason Wilkes, but an ugly plot is exposed which really twists the knife. The desire to do justice to the fallen scientist is Peggy’s driving force in “Better Angels” — and it drives her to be downright reckless.
Whitney Frost’s veil lifts
Whitney Frost was one of the biggest mysteries coming out of the premiere, and a few of those questions of elucidated in Agent Carter 2×03. Expect explanations on Whitney’s background, why she knows so much about Zero Matter, and just how far she’s willing to go to keep her secrets. Fans can also look forward to Whitney learning a few things about herself tonight — especially regarding the way that ominous dark wrinkle has effected her.
The boys are back in town
Was Howard Stark missing from your life? Then worry not, because Mr. Millionaire Playboy Genius is back in Peggy’s day-to-day, in all his newly-monied glory. Less gladly welcomed, perhaps, is Jack Thompson, who crosses the country to “help” Peggy and Sousa deal with the Isodyne business. Suffice it to say, it’s not clear that Captain Thompson is very much help at all.
Peggy goes for a swim
No, Agent Carter 2×03 doesn’t sink to the level of putting Peggy in a swimsuit. (Though there are plenty of ladies in swimsuits, come to think of it.) Instead, Peggy’s dip into Howard’s pool goes something like this:
Well, there’s nothing like a refreshing evening swim! As long as you get that garrote off your neck.
