The British singer has decided to let all of her fans know how she is doing after her recent throat surgery.  Luckily, she seems to be doing rather well!

Thank heavens!  The lovely Adele, who had throat surgery on November 7th, has taken to her blog to give her loyal fans some peace of mind regarding her upsetting throat surgery which caused her to cancel all of her upcoming shows.

After apologizing for not writing for a while, Adele says;

“Thank you for all your positive thoughts and get well wishes. I’m doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all.  The operation was a success and I’m just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors. Thank you to everyone who voted for the awards I’ve won recently as well. Hugely appreciated. I best get back to practicing my mime show now. Take care, miss you all — Always adele xx.”

While we had reported a few weeks ago that the Doctor who performed Adele’s surgery said she would make a full recovery, it’s extremely comforting to hear it directly from the horses mouth.  It sounds as though she is doing very well and getting the chance to relax, which seems well deserved.  Even though she had to get surgery in order to have some time off, it’s good to hear that she can lay low for a little while after working so hard this past year.

The only downside, however, is that the 17 shows that were cancelled because of the surgery are reportedly going to be a loss of between 7 and 10 million dollars.  Yikes!

What do you think?  Can you stand to wait any longer for some new Adele performances to watch on repeat?
