Adam McKay has just added a slew of Hollywood heavy hitters to the cast of Don’t Look Up— including the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, and Timothee Chalamet!

According to Deadline, actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Timothee Chalamet, and Jonah Hill, in addition to recording artist Ariana Grande, have all joined the cast of a brand new Adam McKay movie coming down the pipeline at Netflix.

Casting news for the ensemble cast doesn’t stop there. In addition, others who’ve joined the project today (October 14) include Himesh Patel, Matthew Perry, Tomer Sisley, and rapper Kid Cudi.

Directed, written, and produced by McKay, Don’t Look Up is set to follow two low-level astronomers who set off on a media tour in an effort to warn mankind of a fast approaching asteroid that will destroy Earth.

The newly announced cast members join Oscar Jennifer Lawrence, who’s been attached to star in the film for quite some time. Reportedly, Lawrence will play one of the two astronauts in question, with DiCaprio playing the other.

Cate Blanchett and Rob Morgan are also set to appear as part of the film’s star-studded cast.

Unfortunately, the long list of A-listers set to appear in the film doesn’t come equipped with details in regards to which characters they’ll be playing. Guess we’ll just have to wait for McKay to drop more details as the film moves further and further into production.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect Don’t Look Up to debut via Netflix.
