The Voice coach and musician Adam Levine is in negotiations to make his acting debut on the second season of American Horror Story as a guest star. And it doesn’t sound like he’ll be one of the rare characters that are actually human.

So far we know that Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Lily Rabe are returning for the second season. We also know that they are looking to cast a character similar to Lisa Rowe from Girl, Interrupted. This is the first news about a guest appearance.

Entertainment Weekly reports:

EW can exclusively reveal that Levine is in final negotiations to appear in season 2 of FX’s hit thriller American Horror Story. In his television acting debut, Levine will be playing a contemporary character and half of a couple called “The Lovers.” AHS producers are so fond of Levine that they are shooting around his summer touring schedule.
