Get ready to see more of Abigail Spencer on Grey’s Anatomy season 18.

According to Deadline, actress Abigail Spencer has officially signed on to return for Grey’s Anatomy season 18.

“It’s always a joy to have @abigailspencer back with our #GreysAnatomy family!!” Tweeted Shondaland TV with regards to the actress’ return.

“Love being with you!” Replied the actress.

Spencer, who is no stranger to Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital, will once again be reprising her role as Dr. Megan Hunt in the newest season of the long running medical drama.

The younger sister of Dr. Owen Hunt, Megan has previously appeared in seasons 14 and 15 of the series. Like her big brother, she’s also a former Army vet, having served as a trauma surgeon while in service.

Currently, Megan lives down south in Los Angeles, along with her son, Farouk, but it’s looking like she’ll soon be making the trek up to the Pacific North West.

Still unclear is what specifically will find Dr. Megan Hunt returning to Seattle, but it seems like fans won’t have to wait long to see Abigail Spencer back in action.

In fact, you can expect to see her character appear as part of the premiere episode of the forthcoming season.

Spencer isn’t the only familiar face set to be returning for the newest season of the Shondaland series.

Just last week, it was announced that Grey’s vet Kate Walsh has also signed on to reprise her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery. You can read up on what we know about her involvement on the new season so far right here on Hypable.

Grey’s Anatomy season 18 premieres Thursday, September 30 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
