Millie Bobby Brown is sticking with Netflix for her next project.

On Tuesday (September 10), Netflix announced that it is in the process of developing a new film based an original story by Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown and her sister, Paige.

The forthcoming film is called A Time Lost, and the online streaming giant took to Twitter to share the good news with fans of the Stranger Things star far and wide.

The tweet also revealed that the film centers on a feud between two families that comes to a head when one daughter is diagnosed with cancer.

Netflix’s See What’s Next Twitter account also revealed that Anna Klassen is already attached to write
A Time Lost, with Brown herself serving as a producer on the project.

In addition, Klassen (who is currently in the midst of writing fellow Netflix Original Dorothy and Alice) also took to Twitter to reveal that Millie Bobby Brown had a hand in bringing her on board.

“Millie Bobby Brown asked me to write a movie for her…is probably the coolest sentence I will ever write,” tweeted Klassen. “I’m so excited to write this film and share a story that is deeply personal to Millie and her family.”

Finally, the Brown also weighed in on the announcement in a statement which sheds a bit more light about the story.

“We are so grateful to Netflix for their confidence in us and this beautiful story, which we have spent years writing and developing,” said the Browns in their statement. “It’s about friendship, family, and overcoming obstacles when it feels like the world is pushing you down. It’s been a labor of love, literally.”

There’s currently no word on when we can expect A Time Lost to premiere via Netflix.
