The hype is real for A Star Is Born, and to help us make it to the film’s release date, Warner Bros. released four new clips from the movie.
A Star Is Born is a classic that has gone through several incarnations over the years. The film originally came out in 1937, and told the story of an aspiring actress who meets a fading actor who helps launch her career. It was then remade in 1954 with Judy Garland, and again in 1976 with Barbara Streisand.

Whether you love the original, the Streisand, or the Garland version the best, just about everyone is pumped to see the film enter the modern era with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper headlining.
The 2018 version of A Star Is Born certainly has some giant shoes to fill, but the first trailers made it seem like the movie was living up to legends like Streisand and Garland incredibly well. Now, after seeing the 4 new clips from the film released by Warner Bros., we’re even more certain that this movie is going to be amazing.
The first clips give us a peek into the life of Bradley Cooper’s character, Jackson Maine. Though Jackson was once a music legend, his career is beginning to dwindle thanks to age and alcoholism, but things begin to change when he meets Ally (Lady Gaga).
The second clips give us a better look at Lady Gaga’s character, Ally. A talented singer and songwriter, she’s not been able to find a great deal of success in the music industry. Despite her brilliant voice and amazing talent as a songwriter, the constant rejection has made her insecure.
One of the things you can’t miss when watching these clips is how electric the chemistry between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper is. While it’s key to have talented actors in these iconic roles, what really makes you fall in love with this story is the chemistry between the two leads. While we’ll still have to wait a bit to see the entire movie, these clips have us feeling confident that the 2018 version of A Star Is Born will more than live up to expectations.
And even better, the premiere of the film is getting closer every single day. A Star Is Born premieres in theaters on October 5.
