As Merlin comes to an end this month, we wanted to take some time to celebrate the hottest men we’ve seen on the show the past five seasons.
It’s A Month of Merlin on Hypable, and so far we’ve celebrated the show with insightful columns about how the show will end, what spin-offs we’d like to see, and why all the actors should just join Game of Thrones. But why be so serious? Let’s celebrate one of the best things about this show: its wonderful cast!
From peasants who became knights to silly warlocks with a hysterical lack of coordination, Merlin is filled with dynamic characters who also happen to be smoking hot!
Speaking as a recent Merlin convert, this writer has found himself enraptured with the men of Camelot, and we’re sure you all agree. See our (contentious, we’re sure) top 5 list, and vote for your favorite at the end. Who will you pick?!
#5: Colin Morgan
B) When Colin looks at us with those eyes in that suit…we can’t help but feel mesmerized!
C) Sometimes here at Hypable we get jealous of inanimate objects and walls when they get interact with our favorite actors. This is one of those instances.
#4: Bradley James
B) Bradley looks cross, uh oh! What did we do? Surely he won’t put us in the stocks for gazing at him too long, right?
C) Remember how we told you we’re jealous of inanimate objects sometimes? Multiply that.
#3: Santiago Cabrera
A) There’s nothing sexier than a knight who’s just gotten done with battle coming to claim his reward. We like to think that reward is us.
B) There was a time when Santiago was in Heroes and had hair like Gwaine. Sometimes we miss this look, but we’ll take him either way!
C) We aren’t sure what it is about this photo that makes us go goo-goo, but y’all agree there’s definitely something in the smile, right?
#2: Tom Hopper
A) Oh, Tom. His eyes just pierce into our soul with that puppy dog face. It’s okay, we’re here for you!
B) Those arms. That sword. His face. A picture is worth a thousand words, and every one of those words is: sexy.
C) We don’t even have words for this picture, it’s just too sensual.
#1: Eoin Macken
A) Take a look at Gwaine pulling off a suit with that sexy hair! Even clean shaven he’s a stud.
B) We get a little jealous every time Gwaine pets his horse, I mean how can we not? Look at that face.
C) Oh, and if you didn’t know Gwaine can also pull off short hair. It helps that he’s also shirtless!
Honourary Mention: Alexander Vlahos
We don’t even need to make an argument or show you more than one photo. Look at those eyes! Oh, if only Mordred weren’t so evil. Then we’d feel less guilty about wanting to do evil things to him! ;)
