With thousands of people arriving today in San Diego for the biggest entertainment convention of the year, we have a lot of things to look forward to. But, of course, there are a few that take priority.

‘The Flash’

With Grant Gustin poised to take the world by storm as Barry Allen, we’re really excited to see this new era of superheroes on the CW. During this year’s convention we’ll be checking out the advanced screening of the pilot (which we know is amazing), and attending the DC-filled event on Saturday which includes yet another look at the pilot along with the executive producers.

Marvel

With so many new announcements from Marvel this month, ranging from Thor being a woman to the Falcon taking over the role of Captain America, Marvel is bound to announce something huge at their panel on Saturday. Last year we saw Karen Gillian reveal her new hair (or lack thereof), and this year we’re thinking something just as shocking is going to happen.

‘Mockingjay’

Despite Lionsgate not having their own panel to screen the trailer at, Mockingjay’s first full length trailer is going to be released at the Samsung Galaxy experience at 12 on Friday. Users not at the convention are going to have to wait until the release of the trailer on the Internet, but rest assured we’ll make sure to post it as soon as it is. While we would have preferred the screening at a panel, we’re still just as excited to finally get a glimpse at District 13.

‘The Hobbit’

With the last movie in the trilogy being released this winter, this year’s Comic-Con will be the last time Martin Freeman and Peter Jackson join rank to tease us about The Hobbit. We’ll be at the panel anticipating a sneak peak at Bilbo Baggin’s latest adventure, and taking in all of The Hobbit excitement for the last time.

Justice League

With Marvel doing so many things, DC has some catching up to do. While Batman VS Superman is going to bring us a bunch of new DC heroes, we’re still hoping for an announcement from Warner Bros. about a Justice League movie happening. It makes sense that they would want to start the movie franchise to compete with Marvel’s The Avengers, especially since the announcement of several Marvel release dates set for the next few years.

What are you most excited for?
