The Shannara Chronicles wraps its second season tonight and we have 5 teases designed to whet your appetite.
The second season of Shannara Chronicles came and went quicker than a flash. We spent so much time worrying and fretting about it’s return, that having the show actually on air feels like a blip in comparison.
But we’re going to enjoy these final two episodes to the best of our ability. And to do that, we’re starting with some teasers to get everyone fully excited for tonight’s season finale. Let’s do this!
- The last episode of the season is titled “Blood” for a reason. Both figuratively and literally, blood will be spilled. Rivers of it in fact. It’s a pretty action packed episode as well. With more magic and CGI than probably any other episode in the series. Strap in friends.
- Someone says, “With everything we’re up against, you never know who might get hurt.” Prophetic as hell. More so than the speaker actually understands at the time. But it’s a wise observation, one that is bound to have lasting effects should Shannara continue on.
- Someone gets engaged. Obviously we can’t say who; but there’s nothing like a little romance in an apocalypse to know that the world is worth fighting for. But will the engagement stick? The future is an unpredictable place… Especially for these two.
- Most of our questions from this season are answered. But there are definitely elements of the fallout that we’ve yet to see resolved. Assuming Shannara does get picked up again, the threads left behind could tie together quite nicely.
- Don’t turn the show off until the very very end of the episode. Trust us. There’s no word yet whether or not Shannara will be returning for a third season – but God – if this is where we’re left until the end of time… What a cruel joke.
