Five new Les Mis video clips have been released that feature the main cast singing songs in scenes that haven’t been in previous trailers.

Recently, the international trailer for Les Mis was released and fans were ecstatic to finally see the majority of the cast belting out their beloved musical numbers, and now we have some new scenes from the film, which hits theaters this Christmas.

Les Misérables tells the story of a prisoner (Hugh Jackman), who is on the run from Inspector Javert (Russell Crowe), and the encounters that surround him. Les Misérables has truly started to heat up and fans are dying to see what will most likely be a revolutionary musical when it hits theaters on December 25. The film may be the first of its kind, as the director Tom Hooper gave the actors the opportunity to sing on set and recorded their singing live, so that they would not have to do the traditional ADR, or sound dubbing, which is normally used in films of this genre. Their hope was to gain a more true sound and more expressive performance, due to the actors having to act while singing live. Check out some new clips of the songs below.

“A heart full of love”

The first scene has Eddie Redmayne and Amanda Seyfried as Cosette and Marius who find love with one another during a time of turmoil.

“Who Am I”

Next is Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean: A prisoner on the run who commits his life to raising Cosette.

“On My Own”

We finally get a glimpse of Eponine singing, who hasn’t been seen as much in the promotion for this film.

“Javert Releases Prisoner 24601 On Parole”

Russel Crowe and Hugh Jackman face off in this clip, where Crowe’s character Inspector Javert gives Jean Valjean some bad news.

“At the end of the day”

Anne Hathaway rounds up these new clips with a song from the factory in which she is fired from.
