Hulu is poaching more television shows, boosting its already impressive library of exclusives.

A couple weeks ago we learned that NBC’s beloved 30 Rock starring Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin would be leaving Netflix — BOO! But now we know why: It’s heading exclusively to Hulu beginning October 1.

And that’s not all: NBC shows Parenthood, That’s Johnny, Made in Chelsea, and Face Off are also heading exclusively to Hulu.

The news comes just a week after Will & Grace launched exclusively on Hulu and NBC.com. They join other peacock network shows including This Is Us, Blindspot, and Saturday Night Live (plus a lesser-known classic named Seinfeld).

In the past year or so Hulu has greatly expanded their library and launched a live television service (with an Cloud DVR feature available for an additional fee). Combined, the live and library offerings present a tempting product.

Slowly but surely Hulu has become one of the must-have streaming services, seriously giving Netflix a run for their money. That recent Best Drama Emmy for The Handmaid’s Tale — the first time any streaming service won a top Emmy honor — certainly helps their appeal too.
