NBC will be bringing the cast of 30 Rock back together for a new, original remotely-produced Upfront event.

According to Variety, NBC is describing the event as “a first-of-its-kind all-audience upfront event.”

The special will air Thursday, July 16 at 8 p.m. on NBC, and will feature the return of 30 Rock cast members Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer and more from the hit TV show.

The cast members will reprise their 30 Rock roles — Liz Lemon (Fey), Jack Donaghy (Baldwin), Tracy Jordan (Morgan), Jenna Maroney (Krakowski), Kenneth Parcell (McBrayer) — to celebrate “the stories and talent featured in NBCUniversal’s 2020-21 television season,” according to the network.

The reunion of the cast will be filmed remotely, but the story will likewise serve as a way to promote programming for NBCUniversal

“We’re all happy to have this excuse to (remotely) work together again for NBC,” said 30 Rock,” executive producers Tina Fey and Robert Carlock said in a joint statement. “To quote Kenneth the Page, there are only two things we love in this world, television and everyone.”

The hour-long, commercial-free event will first premiere on NBC and then will be rebroadcast across USA, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, and CNBC. It will also be available to stream on NBCU’s new service Peacock on Friday, July 17 at 9 p.m. ET, which comes two days after Peacock’s nationwide launch on July 15th.

“We put our fans first in everything we do at NBCUniversal, so of course our audiences are at the heart of our reimagined Upfront experience,” said Josh Feldman, NBCU’s EVP, Head of Marketing & Advertising Creative in an official statement. “This very special 30 Rock event will bring together video, advertising, and humor to show the world the power of One Platform in a whole new way.”
