As the Doctor Who 50th anniversary episode, “The Day of the Doctor,” gets closer and closer, the BBC is giving us more and more to quench our ever-growing thirst.

Doctor Who‘s 50th anniversary airs this coming Saturday, and while we’ve been waiting for information to show up about this special event, the BBC has given all that and more in the past week.

Earlier this week, we got a plethora of footage and images to feast our eyes upon. It all started with a 10-second teaser of the Doctor and Clara looking at a painting, two amazing trailers that show us Billie Piper, John Hurt, David Tennant and more, a prequel to the episode starring a special mystery guest, and a clip of Ten and Eleven meeting each other for the first time!

Yowza! So much stuff! And if that wasn’t enough, now we have 25 new stills from the special depicting a whole bunch of things from John Hurt to a presumably dead Dalek and more. Check it out below.

With all of these new stills, some parts of the Doctor Who 50th is starting to get a little more clear. Granted, Doctor Who will never make it that easy to guess what’s going on, but it’s always fun to try, right?

Our prediction is that there is a mystery that each of these Doctors is investigating, all one in the same, and each one finds a portal that they jump through where they meet each other in that forest for the first time. …and that’s all we got, basically.

We love that we see Clara having tea in the T.A.R.D.I.S., and we’re wondering why Eleven is getting all teary-eyed because it makes us think that not only are we going to be ridiculously happy and excited on this day, but we are also going to be bawling a ton (probably thanks to Moffat) due to the emotional aspect of the Doctor having to go back to the Time War.

What do you think is going on in these new ‘Doctor Who’ stills?

Don’t forget that we’re going to be hanging out together on Saturday, November 23 to watch and discuss this highly anticipated episode of Doctor Who!
