The 24 season 9 finale airs tonight. Everybody has decisions to make as the clock ticks down for potentially the final time.
For only 11 hours, it’s felt like quite a long day. This season Jack has rescued Chloe, saved a President here or there and made his love Audrey’s husband look like such a little wimp. Now Jack has 13 hours to finish things off in “10:00 p.m. – 11:00 a.m.”, but sadly we as viewers only have one.
It seems impossible but the final episode of 24 season 9 will strive to cram 13 hours of Cheng-finding, country-saving action into one little hour (minus 16 minutes or so for commercials).
24: Live Another Day has been far more enjoyable that it had any expectation to be as a nine-year-old franchise, and there’s no indication that the final hour will be any different.
If this really the last hurrah for Jack Bauer and 24 (and that seems likely) then let’s enjoy every terrorist-finding, country-saving, logic-defying, flat out fun minute tonight.
