The first trailer for 22 Jump Street starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum has been released by Sony Pictures.

22 Jump Street’s first trailer has just landed online and gives us a great (red band) look at the 21 Jump Street sequel. Watch the trailer below thanks to Sony Pictures:

22 Jump Street was directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The sequel has Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) working their way into college to find out who’s selling a new drug. It looks like they’re right back where we saw them in the first film. Channing’s the jock and Jonah’s the nerd.

The film’s official synopsis reads: “After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership.”

“Now they don’t have to just crack the case – they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.”

The sequel also stars Ice Cube, Amber Stevens, Jillian Bell, and Craig Roberts. 22 Jump Street’s release date is set for June 13, 2014.
