The first 22 Jump Street poster has been released and it features stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.

Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are back in action for 22 Jump Street, and we’re now getting a look at them on the first poster released for the film which debuted on Yahoo.

Press for 22 Jump Street has slowly been coming, but the closer we get to its June 19 release date, the more we’ll see. In movie time, that’s not that far off at all.

Last month we were treated to the first trailer. It was definitely a hoot, and it gave us confidence that the film would live up to the high standard set by the original.

It shouldn’t be much of a surprise if the film does turn out to be good. 21 Jump Street was one of the best comedies in recent years, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, the other film from directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller was not only a good kids film, but a highly enjoyable one for everyone. All of their films have been filled with laughs, and we expect the same out of their two efforts this year: 22 Jump Street and The Lego Movie.

Here’s the oficial synopsis:

After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don’t have to just crack the case – they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.
