Lady Gaga is gearing up to make her grand return to the MTV VMAs stage!

In a press release sent out on Thursday (August 13), MTV revealed that Lady Gaga is the latest musician that has signed on to perform as part of the 2020 MTV VMAs.

Gaga is well known for leaving it all on the floor as far as her performances go, so we’re sure whatever she’s got cooked up for the 2020 Video Music Awards will be no exception.

The Chromatica singer’s involvement with the annual award show marks the first time she’ll be hitting the VMAs stage to perform since 2013.

It’s a great year for Gaga to return— especially given that she’s leading the pack this year with a whopping nine nominations.

Specifically, the powerhouse vocalist has earned nods in the following categories: Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Quarantine Performance, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, and Best Choreography.

Lady Gaga isn’t the only big name act set to perform as part of the 2020 MTV VMAs.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that BTS would also be performing as part of this year’s festivities.

Their forthcoming performance will mark the first time the K-Pop superstars have ever performed at the MTV VMAs. In addition, their performance will also serve as the debut of their new, english-only single, “Dynamite,” which is officially set to be released on August 21.

Others also set to perform as part of the event include The Weekend, J Balvin, Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat, CNCO, and Maluma.

Hosted by Keke Palmer, the 2020 MTV VMAs are set to air live on Sunday, August 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
