The 2020 Golden Globe Award nominees were announced Monday morning.
Notably, Game of Thrones didn’t get a nomination in the Best TV Drama category, nor did Peter Dinklage get his usual Best Supporting Actor nom. The show’s one nomination went to Kit Harrington (Best Actor, TV Drama).
One other notable snub: The Best Director field was void of a woman.
The streaming apps had a good showing, with Netflix’s Marriage Story scoring six nominations, making it the most nominated series of the year. Meanwhile, Apple TV+ received several nominations for the new drama The Morning Show starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Anniston.
