The 2016 Academy Awards took place Sunday night with host Chris Rock, who made the #OscarsSoWhite issue very well known.

Mad Max: Fury Road cleaned up with six major wins while The Revenant, which entered the race with lots of Leonardo DiCaprio hype, came in second with three wins.

Most notably, Spotlight pulled off an eleventh-hour win — it took Best Picture despite only winning one other award on Sunday (Best Original Screenplay).
