If the Super Bowl on February 4 isn’t your cup of tea, surely Animal Planet’s annual Puppy Bowl is.

Shockingly, not a single corgi is listed. Breeds pictured include miniature pinscher, Australian shepherd/Catahoula mix, Labrador retriever, Siberian husky, terrier, Puerto Rican sato, and chow chow. All puppies are between the ages of 9 – 13 weeks old (awwwwwww). See additional details about each pet on Animal Planet.

Watch an overview of the puppy contenders and learn about their history:

Puppy Bowl IX takes place Sunday, February 3 at 3 p.m. ET/PT on Animal Planet! All puppies were obtained from animal shelters, and during the Puppy Bowl viewers are encouraged to purchase dogs through a local shelter. In the middle of the two-hour event, the Kitty Half-Time Show will welcome 21 kittens to enjoy a scratching post on the field. Puppy Bowl 2012 garnered an impressive 10 million viewers over five airings of the event, and all expectations calls for an equally impressive number for Puppy Bowl 2013.
