Finally, the promo for The 100 season 2, episode 1, “The 48” has arrived!

The 100 is returning on October 22 with the first episode of season 2, titled “The 48.”

In the season 1 finale, Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and the other delinquent survivors were taken captive by the Mountain Men. Abby (Paige Turco) and Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) arrived on Earth, while Chancellor Jaha (Isaiah Washington) was left alone on the Ark.

Finn (Thomas McDonell) and Bellamy (Bob Morley) are presumed dead, and the fate of Raven (Lindsey Morgan) is unknown. Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) and Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) are on the move, headed towards a Grounder settlement by the sea.

We’ve already learned a little bit about the season 2 premiere. The first sneak peek released, and the set of promotional images showing Clarke, Abby and Kane’s storylines.

This promo released by The CW reveals some great new bits of information:

Clarke is seen talking to the leader of the Mountain Men, Dante Wallace (played by Raymond J. Barry). He tells her that she and the others are not prisoners – they have been saved.

He also indicates that not all of the people who survived the Grounder attack are in the mountain facility. “There are 48 of us out there,” Clarke tells him. So is it only her and Monty who were brought in for disinfection?

Octavia embraces her newfound Grounder status, attacking what is either a Grounder or Reaper who has something she wants. Is it Lincoln? Or Bellamy?

(Hey, is that Finn or Murphy being dragged along the ground at 0:12?!)

And finally we see a glimpse of life inside the mountain – it’s probably a lot like it was back on the Ark.

Wow! Which storyline are you most excited about seeing continue in season 2?

The 100 season 2, episode 1, “The 48,” airs Wednesday, October 22 at 9/8c on The CW!
