As the world inches closer to the craziness expected in Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel has released a look back at the legacy of their decade-old series.

It’s been 10 years since the first modern MCU film, Iron Man, hit theaters with Robert Downey Jr. at the helm. A new featurette looks back at those early days by sharing some great footage of RDJ and director Jon Faverau wondering if their comic adaptation would become a hit.

Elsewhere in the video we see other prominent stars like Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson discuss what the Marvel movies mean to actors and fans alike.

This reflection on the franchise is particularly poignant ahead of Infinity War, as many fans are expecting it’ll kill off a few longtime MCU characters. Now’s the perfect time to hear the series’ biggest stars talk about what Marvel means to them… as their characters stand on death’s door. ?

Further causing fans to panic about what Infinity War might mean for the future of their faves, Marvel has replaced traditional premieres of the film around the globe with “fan events” in which fans get to catch a glimpse of the stars. Not even media are seeing the movie until the week of release. Traditionally, they get to see it much sooner.
