Wedding season is upon us, but if we’re honest, we’d kind of rather be celebrating with the couples from these pop culture weddings.

In the summer and fall, weddings are as much of a certainty as upbeat pop anthems and tan lines. The older you get, the more weddings you seem to cram into the season.

Weddings can be some of the most fun gatherings of the year. What could be better than a party filled with free food (unless you’re the one getting married), good music, plentiful beverages, and hopefully some cool people? If things go according to plan, everyone will leave with great memories and well wishes for the happy couple.

Of course, sometimes weddings can be terrible. Whether it’s the classic case of the bride or groom-zilla, an awkward collection of guests, or the wrong mix of really anything, things can easily go awry.

We don’t know which category your weddings will fall into this wedding season, but we do know one thing. We do know that no matter how great they are, they will never live up to the 10 epic pop culture weddings on this list of pop culture weddings.

Whether we’re talking grandeur or genuine adorableness, these weddings take the cake as being some of the best nuptials ever seen, and have collectively given us all unrealistic expectations for what a wedding should be. Check out these 10 pop culture weddings, and let us know your favorites, in the comments.

Klaine and Brittana – ‘Glee

Never has a double wedding been so iconic. After watching Kurt, Blaine, Brittany and Santana struggle through different versions of coming out, coming together, and falling apart since the beginning of Glee, watching them walk down the aisle, serenaded by Mercedes and Artie, was met with a sigh of relief from audiences everywhere.

With all of the Gleeks standing to give their support and putting on some epic performances to boot, the Klaine/Brittana wedding was definitely the most musically memorable wedding on this list. The whole thing was amazing, but the icing on the wedding cake was having Kurt’s dad officiate the ceremony, delivering a beautiful speech about the inclusiveness and simplicity of love and marriage.

Marshall and Lily – ‘How I Met Your Mother’

Marshall and Lily’s wedding on How I Met Your Mother was so cute it even made Barney and Robin cry! Of course, they had their own, season long journey to the alter in HIMYM season 9, but Marshall and Lily still win the best wedding award for the show.

After everything went completely wrong with the wedding they had planned, the legen-(wait for it)-dary couple said their vows under a tree with only their best friends in attendance. It was a beautiful celebration of the genuine connection that they share with each other, and their friends.

The Royal Wedding(s)

If a traditional wedding is more your style, nobody will ever do it better than the Royals. Whether you prefer Harry and Meghan, Will and Kate, or even Charles and Diana, the Princes of England know how to put on a spectacle of a ceremony.

Honestly, we think we’ve been to some weddings that look more fun than one of the royal weddings, but if you like attention, there’s no way there’ll be more eyes on any wedding than one of these.

Lillian and Doug – ‘Bridesmaids’

Helen may have been a real piece of work, but she definitely put together one hell of a wedding, when all was said and done. Forget about the ceremony being held in the middle of a pool and the “Fritz Bernaise” gowns, call us when someone gets their favorite childhood band to play at their wedding. Also, call us if you have a group of bridesmaids who are this amazingly funny.

Bill and Fleur – ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I’

The glasses were magically refilling themselves, need we say more? Also, setting and cleaning up looks a lot easier when everyone just stands around and lifts their wands.

On top of the magic of it all, this wedding just looked like a really fun time, with everyone dancing in the perfectly cozy looking tent that seemed to be so full of love. If you go to a wedding like this, we just hope it’s not interrupted by a patronus carrying a warning!

Ben and Leslie – ‘Parks and Recreation’

Just like the How I Met Your Mother wedding, Ben and Leslie’s Parks and Recreation wedding became even cuter because of everything that went wrong. Everyone in the parks department came together to pull together an impromptu ceremony for the couple that just could not wait to get married.

Ron walking Leslie down the aisle, Jerry officiating, the whole department standing by, and let’s not forget those vows. “I love you and I like you,” are the only words that anyone needs to say ever again. Period.

Bella and Edward – ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part I’

This wedding gave “’til death do us part” a whole new meaning. Anyone who fell head over heels with Bella and Edward’s romance was definitely sobbing during this gorgeous wedding scene. It looked so lavish while still feeling very natural. Set it to “Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last, and you have a literal recipe for tears and an unforgettable pop culture wedding.

Jim and Pam – ‘The Office’

This list just wouldn’t be complete without including one of TV’s most iconic couples ever. This wedding is another one that felt so rewarding because we saw their entire journey play out on The Office.

Jim and Pam planned a beautiful wedding at Niagara Falls, secretly hoping that few people from the office would make the trip, but when everyone came, they knew they were in for some drama. While they didn’t think that drama would include an accidental pregnancy announcement, not even that could ruin things.

The two of them went off and had an intimate ceremony on a boat before coming back to face everyone. The only thing that could make it cuter was Jim’s quote. “The boat was actually Plan C, the church was Plan B, and Plan A was marrying her a long, long time ago. Pretty much the day I met her.”

Robb and Talisa – ‘Game of Thrones’

If your weddings this wedding season don’t live up to what is more commonly known as “the red wedding,” it’s probably a good thing. Everyone loves a healthy dose of drama in their wedding festivities, but we could probably take it without the mass murder.

Kim and Kanye – ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Multiple European cities, Lana Del Rey and Andrea Bocelli, private jets, hundreds of white roses…say what you want about Kanye and Kim Kardashian-West, but just like the royals, they sure know how to put on a spectacle of a wedding! Actually, the Kardashians are basically the royal family of the United States, so that makes perfect sense! They deserve their spot among the best pop culture weddings.
