Universal Orlando pulled the cloak off their food and drink offerings for their Wizarding World: Diagon Alley expansion on Friday.

In a press release, the theme park detailed what each of three new eateries will offer guests when the Harry Potter expansion opens this summer.

The flagship place to dine will be The Leaky Cauldron (the Three Broomsticks of Diagon Alley, if you will) which will offer “Bangers and Mash (traditional roasted sausages with creamy mashed potatoes), Fisherman’s Pie (salmon, shrimp and cod baked together under a potato crust), Toad in the Hole (traditional sausage baked into a Yorkshire pudding and served with onion gravy), Fish and Chips, and the Ploughman’s – a feast of English cheese, crusty bread, cornichon pickles, apple beet salad, Branston pickle and a Scotch egg).”

There will also be new beers on tap called Wizard’s Brew and Dragon Scale. For those of you who want something non-alcoholic there will be new “beverages” called Fishy Green Ale and Tongue Tying Lemon Squash.

Over at Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour, guests will enjoy a variety of original ice cream flavors including Earl Grey and Lavender, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Chocolate Chili, Clotted Cream, Salted Caramel Blondie, Apple Crumble, Strawberry and Peanut-Butter, Orange Marmalade, and – wait for it – Butterbeer.

Finally, in Horizont Alley – a street off Diagon Alley – there will be a cart called Eternelle’s Elixir of Refreshment. There you’ll find several more drinks like the Draught of Peace, Babbling Beverage, Elixir to Induce Euphoria and Fire Protection Potion. Says Universal, “by adding these magical elixirs to Gillywater, guests will see their drink transform before their eyes and experience delightful flavor surprises.” We’re eager to see exactly what these elixirs do to the drinks.

In short, there’s going to be a lot of great new food to dine on at Diagon Alley.

The highly-anticipated Harry Potter expansion does not have an official grand opening date yet, but Universal is offering vacation packages that let guests enter at the end of June.

We suspect we’ll have a chance to try some of these food items when we visit Diagon Alley for the media preview in mid June.
