The talent competition returns for its fourth season tonight, the first with new coaches Shakira and Usher. How will the new coaches, and new talent stack up?

Shakira and Usher join the team tonight, replacing former coaches Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera. Will they be able to match up to Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, the returning veterans, and only coaches so far to mentor contestants to victory?

Shakira and Usher don’t seem afraid to take on their new roles as coaches, and they are ready to help mentor new artists onto not only a victory on The Voice, but a successful career after the show. Remember, Usher did introduce Justin Bieber to the world, so whether you think that’s a good or bad thing, he certainly has some influence.

NBC has really been hurting in the ratings recently, so hopefully their answer to American Idol, and one of their top-rated shows, will help to boost their numbers.

Psych yourself up for tonight’s premiere by taking a peek at another blind audition preview:  Christian Porter does an unexpected version of LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It” – which coach will win him over?

The Voice airs tonight on NBC at 8/7c.

Are you excited for the return of The Voice?  How do you think the new coaches will do?
