It looks like “friends butting heads” will be the theme of The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 2, which will air on Sept. 22. The episode, titled “The Junior Professor Solution,” will focus on Howard’s response to Sheldon being forced to take on an undesirable role at the University.
The still photos from “The Junior Professor Solution” also hint that Penny and Bernadette will grind each others gears in response to their new working relationship.
It looks like the situation between Sheldon and Howard gets pretty serious in The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 2. What’s all that pointing about? And it’s nice to see Regina King return as the university’s human resources representative Mrs. Davis — partly because she is sure to further infuriate Sheldon.
The official synopsis for “The Junior Professor Solution” offers more context to the forthcoming feuds between friends.
“When Sheldon is forced to teach a class, Howard surprises everyone by taking it.” And as for the girls, CBS says, “Meanwhile, the tension between Penny and Bernadette gives Amy a chance to play both sides.”
Never underestimate that Amy Farrah Fowler, that’s for sure.
The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 2 will air in an hour-long block with the season premiere. Titled “The Locomotive Interruption,” the first episode of the season will focus on Sheldon’s experiences riding the rails over the summer.
