A new summary has been released for an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory, previewing developments for Sheldon and Amy, as well as a big challenge ahead for Howard.

CBS has released its official description for episode 6×10 of The Big Bang Theory, titled “The Fish Guts Displacement”:

Sheldon tries to nurse a sick Amy back to health, while Wolowitz prepares for an upcoming fishing trip with his father-in-law.

Casey Sander, who previously appeared in season 5, will return as Bernadette’s father. As previously reported, the freshly-cast Meagen Fay will make her first appearence on The Big Bang Theory as Mrs. Rostenkowski. Howard already has his hands full with his own Ma Wolowitz – we can’t wait to see what kind of loving torment his new in-laws are waiting to unleash!

The title for episode 11 has also been recently announced, and it sounds like the holidays are swooping into Pasadena. TVLine scoops that the episode will be titled “The Santa Simulation,” and will feature Sheldon’s “unresolved buisiness” with St. Nick.

Speaking of holidays, there will be no new episodes of The Big Bang Theory airing on the upcoming Thanksgiving Thursday, though CBS will rebroadcast the season premiere, “The Date Night Variable,” as well as “The Shiny Trinket Maneuver” from season 5. The episodes will air at 8 and 9 p.m. respectively.

New episodes of The Big Bang Theory will return next week, with “The Parking Spot Escalation.” CBS says:

When the University reassigns Sheldon’s parking spot to Wolowitz, their fight affects the whole gang.
