Great news, Superstore fans— looks like America Ferrera is coming back for the series finale!

America Ferrera’s Amy Sosa might have traded her signature Cloud 9 vest in favor of a new corporate job out in California, but it looks like she just can’t bare to stay away from her Cloud 9 family for long.

On Wednesday (March 10), Superstore took to its official Twitter account to share that America Ferrera is gearing up to reprise her role as Amy for the Superstore series finale.

“You can lighten up a little bit now because Amy is back!” Tweeted the series.

In addition to sharing a photo of Ferrera back in action as the fan favorite character, the series also clued fans into the fact that they can expect to see Amy return to Cloud 9 as part of the Superstore series finale.

The one-hour series finale event is slated to air via NBC at the end of this month.

Ferrera, who was originally meant to exit the series last season, ended up coming back toward the beginning of season 6 to wrap up some loose ends for Amy. Originally, her character’s story arc was meant to come to a close at the end of season 5, but the coronavirus pandemic found the series’ previous season getting cut a bit short.

We’re sure fans will be excited to know that Amy will be apart of whatever farewell is in store for the rest of the Cloud 9 staff in the series finale.

The one-hour long Superstore series finale airs Thursday, March 25 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
