The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson is the latest celebrity to walk around San Diego Comic-Con unnoticed.

Jackson posted photos of himself walking around Comic-Con on his Facebook profile Saturday morning, just minutes before the Warner Bros. panel starts in Hall H.

“I had a fun day at Comic Con walking among you all,” he wrote on Facebook. “Did anyone see the Evil Jester? Some of you did because you asked him to pose for pics! Cheers, Peter J.”

Jackson pointed to a Hobbit bag and took pictures with people who were impressed by his costume. Take a look:

The director is in town to promote the third Hobbit film The Battle of the Five Armies which hits theaters this December.

Just yesterday we showed you a photo of Dan Radcliffe walking around this year’s Comic-Con dressed as Spider-Man.

Celebrities have to hide in costumes if they want to walk around public areas, because San Diego’s Gaslmap District is swarming with pop culture fans who would recognize them the moment they stepped out of their hotel room.

San Diego Comic-Con runs through Sunday.
