Teen sensation One Direction will appear live on The X Factor this week to perform their two newest songs.

The group will kick X Factor‘s first live results show off with a bang when they sing “Live While We’re Young” and “Little Things” Thursday, November 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.

“Having come from the U.K. ‘X Factor,’ we can’t wait to perform on the U.S. stage – it’s going to be a great night!” said One Direction’s Zayn Malik.

“We’re really excited to be on the American ‘X Factor,’” added fellow member Niall Horan. “It’ll be the first time we’ve performed in front of ‘Uncle Si’ since we were on the U.K. ‘X Factor.’ So, hopefully, we’ll make him proud!”

One Direction’s X Factor appearance is timed to celebrate the release of their sophomore album Take Me Home, slated to drop on November 13. The two songs the group will be performing are their first songs off the album.

They were discovered on the United Kingdom version of Simon Cowell’s X Factor but did not win the competition. Globally, artists discovered by “The X Factor” format have sold more than 120 million records worldwide, including 110 No. 1, 270 Top 10 and 501 Top 50 releases.

Before the results show, tune in Wednesday at 8 to see the Top 12 contestants perform.
