Frozen continues its march through the all-time worldwide box office. How high can it go?
According to Box Office Mojo, Frozen made enough money over the weekend to push it into eighth place in the worldwide box office, just beating Skyfall.
Frozen‘s total gross at the box office now is now $1.1125 billion. How high can it go? It’ll be interesting to watch, that’s for sure. It’s very close to passing The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, but Transformers: Dark of the Moon is a bit further away. No matter where it lands, its far outperforming its $150 million budget.

Frozen had recently become the top grossing animated film of all-time, and it just keeps bringing in the money.

Disney has said that the DVD and Blu-ray release has been one of the biggest selling home entertainment successes in at least a decade. They haven’t released those numbers, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Frozen at least a few more places higher on that list. It’s a movie people are wanting to see again and again, and it truly is a great success for Disney.
Disney is obviously looking at ways to continue banking on the success of Frozen, and one of those options will include a Frozen musical on Broadway. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see a sequel to Frozen, especially after Wreck-it Ralph, another recent Disney animated film, was announced as having a second movie in the works.
The funny “How It Should Have Ended” YouTube channel just tackled Frozen, and the “How Frozen should have ended” video fixes everything wrong with the film, in a tongue and cheek way, of course.
