The first trailer for Daniel Radcliffe’s latest film, Horns, has been released. Watch as Radcliffe speaks in an American accent and grows creepy horns.

We’ve finally received the first trailer for Horns, starring Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe. In the first trailer we see a town’s residents on a witch hunt for a young man who’s supposedly taken the life of his young girlfriend. Watch the first Horns trailer below:

Back when the first footage came out from the film, fans were hesitant about Daniel’s American accent, but it seems fairly polished in today’s trailer. The story looks interesting enough and we’re curious to see just how well Radcliffe does portraying such a unique character.

The first poster for Horns has also been released, which is essentially a newspaper with Radcliffe on the front page along with hints of the story in bold:

Readers may notice that in the poster the words “Walk deeper into the fire” are in bold within the faded text. It’s definitely a creepy phrase for any keen-eyed moviegoers to spot, but we wonder what it will mean for Radcliffe’s character as he also mentions it in the trailer.

Daniel will portray a suspect for the rape and murder of his girlfriend. He wakes up one morning to find that horns have started to grow from his own head and later realizes their power drives people to confess their sins to him and give in to their impulses. This becomes an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend’s tragedy.

The film is based on the critically acclaimed novel written by Joe Hill, the son of famed author Stephen King, and was directed by Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes).

Horns release date is set for none other than Halloween (October 31) in the U.K., but the studio hasn’t set a U.S release date yet.

Excited to see Radcliffe in such a unique role?
