The Florida Disney World park will house an Avatar Land in Animal Kingdom. Take a look at the concept art of the park here!

Parkgoers of Disney World Florida can expect to be able to explore, in-depth, the colorful world of Pandora from James Cameron’s sci-fi adventure movie Avatar.

Concept art of the park’s attractions show attendees walking through the world of the Navi both by day and night.

View that concept art below.

Those attending the parks will be able to “see, hear, and touch” Pandora as the Navi do in the film Avatar.

It seems as though a Pirates of the Caribbean-like ride will allow parkgoers to drift through the nighttime Pandora forest in Disney’s Avatar Land. A ride on the bird-like creatures that the Navi travel on in the movie also seems to be in the works.

Also announced is the first ever nighttime spectacle at Animal Kingdom, something previously unheard of at the daytime park.

Disney World’s Animal Kingdom will add a show at Discovery River which will incorporate “live music, floating lanterns, water screens and swirling animal imagery.” It should be noted that Disney also plans on adding other forms of nighttime entertainment for guests interested in staying Animal Kingdom after dark.

Although a construction completion date has not been announced, fans of Avatar can look forward to a theatrical release for Avatar 2 around 2015.
