Baxter…did you hear the official news? A sequel to one of Will Ferrell’s best movies, Anchorman, is in the works!
Deadline reported that also starring in the sequel that will hopefully do the original Anchorman justice, are returning cast members Steve Carell, David Koechner, and Paul Rudd. Ferrell and Adam McKay’s production company, Gary Sanchez Productions, will be producing. McKay will write the screenplay and direct.
No news reports about plot lines or a release date have surfaced yet, but we’ll keep you posted as they are!
