Anything can happen – and it looks like everything will, in the preview and stills for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 21.

It looks like Sheldon will be taking the paths scoffed at less traveled on The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 21. The episode, titled “The Anything Can Happen Recurrence,” will focus on Leonard’s attempts to snap Sheldon out of a funk with what appears to be a strong dose of magical thinking.

For most people, that might be healthy. For Sheldon, we’re leaning more towards “dangerous.”

The preview for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 21 shows Sheldon going along with Leonard’s plans, albeit rather grumpily. He may reach the end of his tether when Penny implements her ideas, though.

Sheldon visiting a psychic! Was there ever a more flabbergasting sight? Honestly… we really don’t think so.

The still photos for “The Anything Can Happen Recurrence” display a few more of Sheldon’s less-than-calculated risks, and offer a hint at what Howard and Raj will be up to in this week’s episode.

The official synopsis makes it clear that Sheldon’s “anything can happen” attitude will not be free of consequences – both expected and otherwise.

When Sheldon tries to be spontaneous, it leads to unexpected friction between Penny, Amy and Bernadette. Meanwhile, Raj seeks Howard’s help in preparing for a date with Emily.

Though the ladies of The Big Bang Theory might be suffering a few differences, it’s nice to see that Raj is still pursuing his relationship with Emily (Laura Spencer, of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.) And we have to give Howard props for overcoming his humiliation from last week, and pulling his weight for his buddy Raj.

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 21, “The Anything Can Happen Recurrence,” will air on Thursday, April 24 at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
