Forget the rumors of a 24 movie. The new trailer for the upcoming Fox miniseries 24: Live Another Day is cut like a trailer for a big screen film.
In this just-released trailer for the new season of 24, Jack Bauer is detected in London just as the President of the United States arrives in town. While Jack is there because he thinks the President is in danger, his home country is concerned that Bauer – who killed two Russian diplomats – is there to blow up the Commander in Chief.
There’s lots of new footage in this 24: Live Another Day trailer, including a scene in which Chloe suggests that Jack is trying to save the President to redeem himself with his country. Not so, Bauer says. He’s confident there’s an assassination attempt which, if successful, would cause a world war.

The series begins May 5 with a special two-hour episode and runs for the following eleven weeks. The full synopsis follows:
